Blog 5-Ms Ivy Chan-Zhou Shaowen-"Feng Shui Does Not Actually Exist in the World"

Feng Shui Does Not Actually Exist in the World

Recently, feng shui has become a worldwide fad. Many people who follow the principles of feng shui believe that they can be more successful with the help of feng shui. But in my opinion, feng shui cannot change the probability of people’s success, and it even does not actually exist in the world. The reason for this is its vague foundation.
The foundation of its principles is not reliable. The concept of feng shui is mainly based on the flow of chi. However, chi, which is similar to energy according to traditional Chinese culture, was imagined by ancient Chinese, and the existence of chi has never been proofed yet. As the foundation of feng shui is ambiguous, the whole system of it cannot convince people.
Many people may argue that they find well balanced feng shui has brought them good luck. This seems to show that feng shui really exists in the world. However, people have made a mistake when they owe their success to feng shui. Actually, if people practise the principles of feng shui well, they will usually have the faith that they can succeed. The source of the faith is their belief that feng shui will help them. Consequently, when they have made a great success, they will appreciate feng shui but their faith. In fact, it is the faith rather than feng shui that has supported them to overcome all the obstacles in their life. Therefore, feng shui does not affect people’s success but people's attitude, and people’s attitude is the factor that determines whether people will be successful or not. In other words, the existence of feng shui is not true.
To conclude, feng shui does not actually exist in the world. From my perspective, we rely on ourselves rather than feng shui to make success.

  3. yes, some fengshui cannot be explained by scientific theory, but they can change one's career by changing his mood. and i think a very important point is that fengshui can give people relief in believing a briliant future, whatever bad situation he is in.
