There are many differences between different generations.When I was in China,nearly every weekend I will have a breakfast with my grandparents in a restaurant.My grandparents were very happy when they saw us getting together,even we didn't have the same interest.Sometimes I thought it was very boring but they still felt very happy.There is a similar situation between my father and I.When I was with him,I didn't know what I should talk to him.He also didn't know what to say.As a result,when he talked to me, the topic was always about study.When I talked to him,the topic was always basketball.Sometimes there was even a terrible silence.The atmosphere was very embarrassing.This is very common in China,I think.Perhaps in the western country,the situation will be better because the parents there are more open-minded.But I think when we become parents,we can be our sons and daughters' good friends.We are also more open-minded than our parents!
