blog 6: Mrs Pamela - Li Xinyan (Effy) - Character Assessment

Speaking of personality, I believe it is much related with horoscope, or it can be classified based on horoscope. I’m a Scorpio and I am a true Scorpio, for I do possess virtually all the salient features of a Scorpio. Here I’m going to talk about two of my characters as a Scorpio.

One is that Scorpios are ambitious and determined. This is true for me. I like to dream, I like to do something big and different. And once I have decided to do something, I will stick to it and hardly change my mind. But I have to say this character is not always working well on me. Because sometimes I can’t help pushing things to extreme, thus I could easily drive myself crazy and then exhausted. If I have set my goal and I haven’t achieved it, I will always be obsessive about it. I can’t stop fussing over it even in bed at night. As my mom said, I’ve got a fragile nerve.

The other is that Scorpios are sensitive and emotional. This also matches me just right. I strongly value my relationship with others. I care much about my family and friends. And I’m sensitive about how they think of me. But on the flipped side, I could be jealous and moody. I might think too much and wouldn’t let it go for quite a long time. Fortunately, I have good self-control so that I won’t lose my temper easily, but there are always a couple of days during a week or two when I am not so sunny.

I have a complex personality and these characters, I believe, are only a tip of the iceberg. But anyway, I feel good being myself and being a Scorpio.
