Fengshui, a term in Chinese, is controversial recently about whether it is used in modern world because its origin is associated with supervision, although Fengshui has been popular in western countries, even set as one of the majors in some universities in America and Europe . In my opinion, despite its association with supervision, fengshui takes effect scientifically in people’s daily lives. The opinion that Luck can be changed through fengshui is reliable in some ways. In fengshui, the arrangement of furniture is relation to the fate of people in the house, which I think it is actually the mood that makes sense, because generally people in a well-arranged house are optimistic thus they can do things in an active way. Besides, in the prospective of mental power, beliefs about fengshui encourage people so that they are more confident and believe that they would be successful. In conclusion, the origin of fengshui which is supervision should not affect its practical use in modern world.
