My feelings after watching Titanic
Valentine's Day has just passed by. Staying alone in my adopted country, I watched a classic movie named Titanic. After watching it, I have moved a lot not only for the actors' excellent acting, but also the true meaning of love it has revealed.
"He saved me in every way that a person can be saved.", said old Rose at the beginning of the movie, which made me ponder a lot. Facing the icy water, Jack left Rose the last chance of living, and drowned in the sea forever. Not only did Jack save Rose's life, but also helped her understand the true meaning of love. Rose deeply knew that the permanent love is built up on the reliance of two spirits instead of the infatuation of physical bodies. Facing Jack's death, Rose chose to keep on living firmly because of the courage and faith Jack had given. As the theme song says, "You are here, there is nothing I fear." Because their souls had already combined together, nothing in the world was worth to be feared anymore. Although Jack was dead, he would stay alive in Rose's heart forever. "You have never left me", I believe it is just the true meaning of love.
Love is the best gift of god. And the permanent love is based on the merging of two hearts as well as the reliance of two souls, isn't it?
