Blog 1)"Mr Seto"-"Wei Wenbo"-"My two protests"-"Theme:Protests"

Protest 1:I strongly oppose the plan to build a nuclear power plant in my town.On one hand, nuclear radiation will greatly affect health of people. It is proved that the incident of cancer is high in towns with nuclear power plant. On the other hand, the existing of nuclear power plant will make my town unattractive to people from other places, which has a bad effect on thedevelopment of the town.I do not want what happened in Ukrain and in Japan to occue in my town

Protest 2:I disagree with the immigration policy.Firstly,it is not fair for foreigners.People should have the equal rights to pursue their happiness wherever they are.Secondly, the scarcity of work force compels our country to attract foreigners.Besides, immigration policy will damage our reputation in the world

  1. Your article is clear so that easy to understand. But you can express your ideas in a better way,for instance, you can replace "It is proved that the incident of cancer is high in towns with nuclear power plant." with "It has been proved that the incidence of cancer in the towns with nuclear power plant is much higher than that in the others."

  2. Good. But I would better tell you to change "I do not want what happened in Ukrain and in Japan to occue in my town". It can be "I do not want see that what happened in Ukrain and Japan occur in my town again".
Better to change "greatly" into badly.

  4. I cannot agree more on the first protest.
I am a little confused when reading protest 2 at first.
I have no clue what happened to the immigration policy. Are foreigners prohibited to enter this country or are they charged a large amount of money by ICA?It will be better if there are some brief introductions before the arguments.

  5. Simple sentences and easy to follow, well done! However, I the immigration policy should not be so tight because you cannot avoid the globalization.
