I still remember the day my parents bring me to the zoo, when I was a little girl. And I couldn't stop crying the moment I saw a little monkey. He stayed at the corner, and visitors continued to throw the peels to him in order to push him to get closer. Looking into his eyes, I saw the deep fear and sorrow, then I was crying out of control.
The same feeling beat my heart strongly yesterday while I was looking unbelievable news. It was about a tradition in a region of Rome, which is still very popular nowadays. The young there will celebrate their day to be adults by killing hundreds of whales. Seeing hundreds of whales died in the red river colored by their blood, my heart broke totally. I could see clearly the tears in their face, and the huge sorrow in their heart.
How can they ignore the cry from our friends? How can they kill their friends without any mercy? How can they use this way to show they are mature? How can they?
If we are crying for help to our best friends, how horrible the time we will have when they ignore and continue to hurt us is! If we are killed by our best trusted friends, how deep the sorrow we will have is! If our best friends regard hurting us as a glory, how depressed we will be!
How WONDERFUL the world will be if we live in harmony with our lovely friends!
After knowing the facts in your blog I feel very sad.Treating animals badly is a commom phenominon now.Maybe people think they are more advanced than animals, so they never treat animals as their friends. I cannot agree with you more that the world would be a better place if people treat animals as their friends.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is really touching, especially with this song. :( I cannot agree more with you on this point, human beings has done so much things that hurt our planet and innocent creatures. Every time I heard of things like that, I could not dam my grief and feel angry about what they did. So what we should do is trying our best to stop these things from happening and spare no effort in protecting animals!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great. This recalls me the movie about dolphins were captured and mistreated in a village in Japan. People should not mistreat animals.
ReplyDeleteWe can change the world, guys. I think, the world is in our hands!
